Hydro-Dipping, also known as Water Transfer Printing, Hydro Graphic Printing, 3D Printing and Carbon Dipping amongst other names is the process of Transferring a pattern, be it wood, carbon fibre, camouflage, flames or one of literally thousands of designer patterns from a piece of PVA printed media onto the surface of an object by means of an ink transfer process.

In brief, a pattern is floated on water and sprayed with an industy designed activator to liquify it. As the object is immersed in the pattern coverred water, the infill of water literally wraps the pattern around the object. Areas of use include the customisation of frames, wheels, mudguards, fairings, wing mirrors, plastic or metal panels, crash helmets, and pretty much anything with a hard surface that can be dipped in water. The list of applications is endless and also includes items from mobile phone cases up to household furniture with most things in between.

If it can be painted - then it can be dipped......

Anodising is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts.
Anodizing increases corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and provides better adhesion for paint primers and glues than does bare metal. Anodic films can also be used for a number of cosmetic effects, either with thick porous coatings that can absorb dyes or with thin transparent coatings that add interference effects to reflected light.
Examples of the work done for customers:

What can I get Anodised?
Billet, Sheet, Extrusion or Forged aluminium - Pretty much any ally except casting really.
Turnaround time at the moment will be one working day depending on what time they get the parts.
The company anodise for the likes of McLaren, RE Thomson Fighter Jets, Downhill world champions and all kinds of racers.
They can do hard anodising too but it takes a bit longer and does cost a substantial amount more. Saying that, you scratch a hard anodised frame down a brick wall and you're likely to be able to just wipe off the marks.
Based in Sandhurst, Berkshire - you can post your items, everyone does. Once the job is done they will send a photo and then once payment is received, confirmation of return post with tracking number are sent back.
It's easier to price whatever parts you need done as it can vary and doing a price list for thousands of parts would take forever. Sometimes people are mistaken by thinking a part is the right type of aluminium etc so if in doubt it is best to ask!!
One price that is definite is calipers. They're £60 for the front two and £40 for the rear incl all treatments and bead blasting. Excluding postage.
Polishing and bead blasting are both available as extras
